Q&A- Dosing Suggestions, Timing & Troubleshooting

Depending on the timing of the dose, the capsule will either release in the stomach or the intestines. The 50-75 minutes that it takes for the capsule to begin to open allows most individuals the flexibility to take it anytime (with or without meals) and still achieve intestinal release.

You might not need to use as much oregano as you think! Oregano is highly concentrated and bursting with natural antimicrobial compounds that work well in small concentrations.

Incrementally increasing the dose over a period of time allows you to better gauge your symptoms, so that you use what you need.

Individuals with Hypochlorhydria (low stomach acid) may find that the capsule releases too soon when trying to directly target the intestines.

This may include those taking prescription drugs to lower stomach acid.

Reach out to us for workaround suggestions if this happens.

If you prefer the capsule contents release in the stomach (as most gelcaps do), try taking the dose about 15-30 minutes before a meal.

Taking the capsule at the beginning of a meal may help to prevent/minimize heartburn in susceptible individuals.

PRODUCT SNAPSHOT

WHY OREGANO?

The phenols & terpenes naturally contained within the oregano plant have varying "anti" properties.  Among these are highly sought after antimicrobial
properties, which include antibiotic, antibacterial, antiviral,
anti-inflammatory and anti-parasitic.

THE WILDCAPS ADVANTAGE

DELAYED RELEASE TECHNOLOGY

WildCaps begin to open within 50-75 minutes of consumption, compared to traditional capsules that open within minutes. This is especially beneficial to those with dysbiosis of the intestines (candida, SIBO, SIFO, etc.) because the user can directly target the intestines.
